In a move to forge a strategic partnership to strengthen its position in the Marine Energy sector, PT Permata Tera Daya and PT Indonesia Power had in-depth discussions to increase the renewable energy mix in fulfilling the national capacity building programme (11/12/2018).

The discussion also involved the Director of General Engineering, Maintenance and Repair of PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) Sutrisno together with the Head of General Engineering Aries Suharyono, Head of PP Rekumhar Aris Wacana, Head of Design Priyo Susanto, and Wave Roller representatives. PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) and Wave Roller warmly welcomed the discussion regarding the development of Electric Energy Technology from renewable sources sourced from the sea.

Representatives from each company expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership. This Ocean Energy conversion technology is the beginning of a joint step towards fulfilling the national energy mix target. Sutrisno said that we are very happy in the creation of products for renewable energy sources. ‘The development of this technology is a favorable opportunity for national capacity,’ he said. The need to fulfil 35,000 MW to illuminate the whole of Indonesia is a government priority.
This strategic partnership is expected to provide significant benefits for all parties involved.
